PRIVACY POLICY



DOCFLIQ PTE LTD, a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore with its registered office at 8 Eu Tong Sen Street #14-94, The Central, Singapore 059818 together with its affiliated entities, including Docfliq Private Limited (India) and Docfliq DWC LLC (Dubai) (“us”, “we”, or “Docfliq”, which also includes its affiliates) is the operator of the Master Class by Glycemic Experts (the “Programme”).


This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, share, disclose, and protect personal information about the users of the Programme (“you” or “Users” in this Privacy Policy). We created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to the protection of your privacy and your personal information. Your use of and access to the Programme is subject to this Privacy Policy.


By using the Programme or by otherwise giving us your information, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy. You hereby consent to our collection, use, sharing, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or delete portions of the terms of this Privacy Policy, at our sole discretion, at any time. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy at any time, do not use the Programme or give us any of your information.


IF YOU USE THE PROGRAMME ON BEHALF OF AN ENTITY, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE AUTHORISED BY SUCH ENTITY TO ACCEPT THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND TO CONSENT TO OUR COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF SUCH ENTITY’S INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

You hereby consent to the collection of your personal information by Docfliq. Without prejudice to the generality of the above, information collected by us from you may include (but is not limited to) the following:

i. Contact data (your email address and phone number);

ii. Demographic data (such as your name, city, state, and country);

iii. Your medical specialisation and subspecialty;

iv. Associated hospital or institution;

v. Medical registration or personal identification number;

vi. How you came to learn about the Programme;

vii. Data regarding your usage of the Programme and the history of such use;

viii. Other information that you voluntarily choose to provide to us (such as information shared through emails, instant messaging, or letters).


We may also process personal data that is publicly available, in accordance with applicable law. Docfliq will be free to use, collect, and disclose information that is freely available in the public domain without your consent.


PRIVACY STATEMENTS

All information provided to us by a User is voluntary. You understand that Docfliq may use certain information of yours (a) for the purpose of providing you the Programme, including delivery of educational content, Continuing Medical Education (CME) / Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certification, and personalised learning; (b) for commercial purposes and in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form for research, statistical analysis, and business intelligence purposes; (c) for sale or transfer of such research, statistical, or intelligence data in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form to third parties and affiliates; (d) to provide Abbott with participant information including registration details, engagement metrics, assessment results, and programme performance data, which may include personally identifiable information; (e) for debugging and customer support related issues. Additionally, by accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to receive branded educational communications from Abbott in connection with this Programme.


Docfliq also reserves the right to use information provided by or about the User for the following purposes:

i. Contacting Users for offering new products or programmes;

ii. Contacting Users for taking product and service feedback.


By affirming your assent to this Privacy Policy, you provide your consent to such use, collection, and disclosure as required under applicable law. Docfliq has implemented best international market practices and security policies, rules, and technical measures to protect the personal data that it has under its control from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, and unlawful destruction or accidental loss. However, for any data loss or theft due to unauthorised access to a User’s electronic devices through which the User avails the Programme, Docfliq shall not be held liable for any loss whatsoever incurred by the User. Docfliq implements reasonable security practices and procedures and has a comprehensive documented information security programme and information security policies that contain managerial, technical, operational, and physical security control measures that are commensurate with respect to the information being collected and the nature of Docfliq’s business.


You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide to us is accurate and up to date. If your personal information changes, you may notify us at grievance@docfliq.com so that we can update our records. We will make good faith efforts to update such information in our active systems as soon as reasonably practicable. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete, or if Docfliq has reasonable grounds to suspect the same, Docfliq may, at its sole discretion, discontinue the provision of the Programme to you.


CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

Your personal information is maintained by Docfliq in electronic form on its equipment and on the equipment of its employees. Such information may also be converted to physical form from time to time. Docfliq takes all necessary precautions to protect your personal information both online and offline, and implements reasonable security practices and measures including certain managerial, technical, operational, and physical security control measures that are commensurate with respect to the information being collected and the nature of Docfliq’s business.


YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at grievance@docfliq.com. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, noting that this will not affect processing already carried out and may impact your ability to use the Programme. We will respond to all verified rights requests in accordance with the timelines prescribed by applicable law. Jurisdiction-specific rights and timelines are described in the Regional Supplements to the Privacy Policy below.


UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable regulatory requirements, or Programme features. We will publish the updated Privacy Policy on the Programme. Your continued access to or use of the Programme following such publication constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.


INTRA-GROUP DATA TRANSFERS AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFERS

We operate through three entities: Docfliq PTE Ltd (Singapore), Docfliq Private Limited (India), and Docfliq DWC LLC (Dubai). Data may be shared between these entities for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. These intra-group transfers are governed by contractual arrangements between the relevant entities that ensure a comparable standard of data protection applies regardless of the country to which personal data is transferred.


CHILDREN

Our Programme is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from such individuals. If you become aware that a person under the age of 18 has provided personal data to us, please contact us at grievance@docfliq.com. We will investigate and, where appropriate, delete such data.

This Privacy Policy shall be interpreted, construed, and enforced in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts or authorities as determined by the applicable law of your jurisdiction.


REGIONAL SUPPLEMENTS TO PRIVACY POLICY

Docfliq processes personal data of Users located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. We are committed to complying with the applicable data protection laws in each of these jurisdictions. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge complaints with the competent data protection authority in your country. To exercise any such rights, please contact us as set out in the Grievance Redressal section of this Privacy Policy.
